Albu & Associates, Inc. has been in business since 1994. Our mission is to give our clients peace of mind by proactively leading and collaborating with all participating teams to construct a superior product, as expeditiously and in the most cost effective manner possible.
We not only provide general contracting, construction management, design/build, inspection and consulting services; we also focus on the most effective and efficient way to handle your needs from start to completion through technology, creativity and forward thinking.
Our clients are a diverse mix of owners, managers, and developers who are constructing new or renovating existing commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities. The common thread lies in our long-term relationships with all of them. Whether we are working with a national client such as Chase/Washington Mutual, who we have been working with for almost a decade and built over 50 banks, or if we are working with the Magic and the City of Orlando on the New Orlando Events Center, which is over 800,000 sq. ft, we provide a product to the owner that is on budget, on time and to their complete satisfaction.
Albu & Associates is licensed by the State of Florida to provide general contracting services (CGC1520336). The company is certified as a Minority Business Enterprise in the State of Florida, Orange County, Volusia County, City of Orlando and the Florida Minority Supplier Development Council. Our company is in compliance with all of the 29 CFR 1926 OSHA’s Construction Industry Regulations and sets SAFETY a priority above all else.
We strongly believe in giving back to our community. Albu & Associates staff members have participated in many charitable organizations and events in Central Florida over the years. Albu & Associates has multiple LEED Accredited Professionals on staff and is committed to the “green” building initiative.

George was the founder of Albu & Associates whose career encompassed over 40 years of domestic and international experience in engineering and construction. George founded Albu & Associates in 1994, and was personally involved in each project from the selection of team members through the completion of construction.Prior to forming Albu & Associates, George worked 13 years for general contractors in Central Florida. As a Project Manager, he had complete managerial and fiscal responsibility for numerous construction projects, many of which were presented with awards by area professional associations.
George gained experience in the international market by working for the Arabian American Oil Company for six years. Based in Saudi Arabia, he was responsible for the design and construction of more than $100 million of commercial, industrial, petroleum and recreational facilities.
George is known for his high level of professionalism, strong management and organizational skills, and his sense of fairness. His principles continue to be used today and can be credited for the success of the company.
Jason Albu | CEO |
With more then than twelve years experience in the industry, Jason leads Albu and Associates in Client Relations and MBE Management efforts. Under Jason’s leadership, the company has achieved the status of one of the Top 25 Construction companies in Central Florida. Jason was named in the prestigious Top 40 Under 40 ranked by the Orlando Business Journal. Jason sits on the board of directors for Fairwinds Credit Union and the Central and North Florida Minority Supplier Development Council and is very active in trade organizations throughout Central Florida. Jason is a graduate of the of the University of Florida and is OSHA 10-Hour Certified.
Jason involves himself not only in the Florida construction industry, but is also active in helping charities and organizations in the Central Florida community including A Gift For Teaching and the Maitland Historical Society.
Andrew Albu | President/LEED AP |
Andrew has more than twelve years experience in the commercial construction industry, including pre-construction services, estimating, field foreman, superintendent, safety manager, project engineer and project manager. He specializes in Albu & Associates, Inc. core fields of Retail, Office and Banks. Andrew is a LEED Accredited Professional, licensed real estate agent, has completed Leadership Orlando, OSHA Construction Outreach trainer, and has prior job experience with SPACEHAB for NASA – ISS Data Integration PM. Andrew holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Sciences from the University of Florida.
Bob Dzurino | Construction Manager |
Bob has twenty-five years of construction experience specializing in professional project management. Prior to joining Albu & Associates, Inc. Bob spent sixteen years with general contractors in the Central Florida area as Superintendent and Project Manager on specialty projects such as museums, banks, churches and apartment buildings. The projects ranged in value from $1 million to $34 million, and included clients such as STRANG communications, Orlando Museum of Art, Rollins College and (the former) Barnett Bank. Bob has completed numerous courses in OSHA and holds a business degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
Bob has a track record of successfully completing projects while maintaining a professional, agreeable relationship with clients.
Shawn Epp | Project Manager |
With over eleven years experience in the construction industry, Shawn’s experience includes pre-construction services, estimating, field foreman, facilities coordinator, purchasing specialist and project engineer. Shawn has experience in commercial and residential construction applications from single family homes to retail and offices. While working in the residential market, Shawn performed the plan review for all of the company’s model homes nationwide, that ranged from multi-family buildings to 5,000 sq. ft. semi custom homes. Shawn holds an Associate of Science degree from Valencia Community College and an OSHA 10-Hour Construction Certification.
